
Received a formal invitation from the Philippine EITI to take part in the peer-learning exchange & study and participate as observes in the Extractive Transparency Week (ETW), scheduled from 25 to 27 November 2025, with the conference to be held on 28 November 2025 in Metro Manila, focused on implementing EITI and Natural Resources Managament. Organized by: Philippine Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (PH-EITI), Department of Finance.
The event Purpose are mostly to Promote multi‑stakeholder dialogue, During the Week, stakeholders including government agencies, LGUs, extractive companies, CSOs, Indigenous Peoples, local communities, academics, and development partners come together to engage in pannel discussion and dialogue on mining, oil, and gas governance. also seeks to ensure that Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and grassroots organizations, who are most affected by extractive operations, have a strong voice and actively engage in resource governance dialogue. In addition to promoting disclosure practices, beneficial ownership transparency, and revenue reporting.
According to the PH‑EITI Secretariat, “This week is more than just discussions; it focuses on guiding the future of resource governance in the Philippines, ensuring communities benefit from extractive wealth, and promoting accountability among companies and the government.”

On 27 November, the Timor-Leste delegation shared a presentation outlining EITI implementation experiences from inception to the present, highlighting achievements, and lessons learn with the Philippines, and PNG.
