Dili, Timor‑Leste – March 4 2026– The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MPRM), through the Timor‑Leste Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (TL-EITI) Secretariat, Organize a Three-Day MSG Workshop scheduled 4-6 March 2026 in Tibar, Liquiça Municipality. The workshop aims to strengthen MSG oversight, ensure effective governance, and enhance transparency in the extractive sector. The TL‑EITI Secretariat will be responsible for managing presentations and facilitating discussions throughout the workshop. The sessions will provide MSG members with an opportunity to review, discuss, and could approve The following documents such as :

  • 2026 Work Plan
  • Annual Progress Review 2024–2025 reporting period.
  • MSG Terms of Reference (ToR)
  • TOR for Reporting
  • Validation Template

The majority of MSG members participated in the discussion and provided positive feedback and input on the documents mentioned above. To date, the MSG has approved the ToR for the MSG and the Work Plan (WP), subject to minor revisions. The remaining documents require further review and approval.
